I recently worked with Garden State Mortgage when buying my first home, which closed on November 15. Buying a home can be very stressful, as I discovered, but GSM made the experience much more pleasant.

My mortgage representative, Manvinder Dua, was extremely helpful with information about the entire home buying process and clearly laid out all of my mortgage options. Furthermore, she appreciated the urgency with which everything needed to be done and exceeded my expectations with her speed and helpfulness.

In the end, Manvinder and I decided on the 80-10-10 mortgage. Since I put down 10%, the 80-10-10 allowed me to take out a second mortgage for the remaining amount and thereby avoid PMI. Not only will my monthly payment be slightly lower, it will also be tax deductible, which will help to reduce the payments even further.
